EN ISO/IEC 17 025
General Requirements for the Competence of Testing and Calibration Laboratories
The EN ISO/IEC 17 025 standard specifies the general requirements a laboratory has to met if it is to be recognized as competent to carry out tests and/or calibrations, including sampling.
Chapter 5 describes the requirements the laboratory has to fulfill:
- In chapter 5.4: Test and calibration methods including sampling
- in chapter 5.5: Equipment
- in chapter 5.6: Measurement traceability
- 5.6.1: General: calibration of equipment program
- 5.6.3: Reference standards and reference materials
- in chapter 5.7 Sampling
All these requirements are taken into account in the EffiValidation software and covered with it.
