Installation of the Full version
After completing the ordering process, the user will be sent an email with the user data to access the protected part of EffiChem website to download the full version.
To install the full version, please first uninstall the DEMO and delete the demo database (EV.GDB). Do not delete other DEMO version files. They will be removed automatically during the installation of the full version.
Instructions (also follow the installation wizard):
- Insert the installation CD to the CD drive
- In the opened window: Installation of EffiChem product EffiValidation
click:
>English > Installation> Install EffiValidation
Select language to be used: English. Click OK.
If you want to install the software on the same computer as the demo version, a
warning is displayed: “The application is already installed. Prior to the
installation it is recommended to un/install the current version. Do you want to
uninstall the current version now?”
Click: Yes
- In the opened Setup – EffiValidation window click “Next”
- In the License agreement window click:
- “I accept the agreement” if you want to continue and install the
software, or click
- “I do not accept the agreement” to stop the installation
- If you select “I accept the agreement”, the window “Select
destination directory” will be open. Select the folder and click “Next”
- In “Select Component” select: “Full (single-user) installation” (all
checkboxes are checked)
- Select Start Menu Folder and click “Next”
- Select Additional Tasks and click “Next”
- Check setting for the installation in the “Ready to Install” window and
click “Install”
- In the “Completing the EffiValidation Setup Wizard” window click “Yes, restart the computer now” (recommended)
After completing the installation and restarting the computer, click
EffiValidation icon on the desktop or click Start > Programs >
EffiValidation 3.0 > EffiValidation 3.0 and start the software.
In the opened “User Verification” window, enter the user name and password
obtained from us and click OK.
The user name and password can be changed (by software administrator only) via:
Tools > List of Software Users > Edit.
